Cynthia Louise Bissett is the vice-president of mobile operator Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director and businessman of an internet-based network was her father. Born into the context of a Catholic home the child was raised in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Her parents enrolled their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. Music was her passion since childhood. She began playing piano at the age of an infant. After the age of 13 she wrote her first piece. She performed at open mic nights. Her favorite singers included Queen Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. After graduating from high school and matriculating at the Tisch School of Art of New York University where she studied music. However, after finishing high school, she entered the Tisch School of Arts at New York University in order to pursue a degree in music.
